Our Story
Born from Real Conversations, Built for Real Couples.
It started with a pattern that Minister JimPatrick couldn't ignore. Couple after couple sat across from him with the same story: “We love each other, but we don't know how to fix this.” They weren't lacking commitment. They were lacking a framework, a plan, and someone willing to walk with them through the hard parts.
So he and Summer built one. What began as marriage mentoring conversations in living rooms and church halls across Coventry became a structured methodology, grounded in 12 domains that cover every dimension of a marriage. Not theory from a textbook. Practical tools drawn from hundreds of real conversations with real couples navigating real life.
Today, MarriageWorks.TODAY combines that hard-won human wisdom with personalised guidance, making quality marriage support accessible to every couple, regardless of where they are or what they can afford. Because no one should have to fight for their marriage alone.

The Founders
The People Behind the Platform.
Minister JimPatrick Munupe has been passionate about marriage and family since he was a young boy growing up in East Africa, watching his mother work tirelessly to hold things together on her own. Born in Kenya with multi-generational roots across Malawi, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania, he came to the UK as a young man carrying that passion with him. After marrying young and becoming a father, he went through a divorce that became the most painful, and the most formative, season of his life. Those years taught him something no qualification ever could: that love is not enough on its own. Marriages need structure, honesty, and the courage to ask for help.
That understanding is what led to MarriageWorks.TODAY, but JimPatrick didn't build it alone. Together with his wife Summer, originally from the Philippines, the platform took shape as something far bigger than one person's story. Summer is the co-creator of the 12 Domains framework, the structured, faith-grounded approach that sits at the heart of everything they do. She brings creative media expertise, a heart for Kingdom purpose, and a perspective that has been instrumental in making the framework practical, accessible, and real. Where JimPatrick brings years of hands-on mentoring experience and his qualification as a Marriage Mentor and SYMBIS Facilitator, Summer brings the strategic and creative vision that turns experience into something couples can actually use.
Based in Coventry, UK, JimPatrick and Summer work with couples from all backgrounds, all beliefs, and at every stage of their relationship. Their approach is faith-rooted but never exclusive. They don't come as people with a perfect marriage. They come as people who have been on both sides, who have seen what happens when couples get the right support at the right time, and who believe that no couple should have to figure this out alone.
